Amos Vogel dies at age 91




















Influential cinĂ©aste, Amos Vogel died in his Greenwich Village apartment last Tuesday at the age of 91. He was best known as the founder of Cinema 16 and the first New York Film Festival, not to mention his bestselling book, Film as a Subversive Art.
